I am a Pakistan supporter but also back India when they are playing other teams.
Do you feel it stems from their politics.
Pakistan are as unpredictable as West Indies - they can lose against Kenya on one day and then win against the world champs two days later. So they are a difult team to be behind.

I would love to see them winning anyway.

Well.Well.Well.

Just as an ardent Pakistan fan would love to see it win anyway, - it is true an ardent Indian fan would too.

Of course all cricket lovers support good players from any part of the globe, though sometimes somewhat grudgingly towards select opponents.

Why try to pretend that Politics and History is not the reason?
If it is not, then what is ?
This IS the way it has come about - unfortunately.

But beware, I suspect that it is the money bags who are on the eternal look out to stoke rivalry in any part of the globe for any reason, from sports to outright war - just to keep filling their coffers, masquerading as champions and promoters of healthy competition ,democracy etc etc (though ideally they are laudable objectives ) !! The gullible goblins simply gobble up what is served and suffer agonizing trauma of all kinds.

If the two had been together historically and politically and socially etc. the world combined together could not beat the combination in any field, let alone Cricket.

I guess, the above applies to any similar situation in any part of the world for any reason.

Pakistan is one of the most talented teams in the world. I am an Indian supporter but I agree that the Pakis are pretty good as well. Between Pakistan and India there is alot of rivalry which stems from the fact that Pakistan are seen as India's proverbial enemies. Therefore its great to see India beating Pakistan. Having said that, Pakistan have a much better record over India in tests and ODI but in the world cup they have never beaten India.

I'd hate it if Pakistan beat India!!!!
Damn I wouldn't be able to show my face to the guys ever again. Pakistan are good but I believe India can do better (this is just out of pure patriotism.... personally I'd like it if West Indies or New Zealand won)
Anyway hope India wins (or atleast makes the semis!). Fingers crossed!!

Pakistan is kind of team who are 'hero' on one day and would get to 'zero' on very next day, so you are right they are unpredicatable..........But this is not good on their part.......they play with luck, if it worked they would win otherwise not......no doubt they have a great talent but this talent is not put in right way.....Anyways being a Pakistani, i would love to watch Pakistan winning always.......but more i m a great cricket fan......thats why i would not mind even if india wins......when i see that my team is not going to win i start enjoying the other team performance....though i m always a supporter of my team whether they are hero or zero but i m a cricket lover as well.....so i love to "enjoy" it actualy whoever is winning! i don't let my emotions occupy my love for cricket game ! even for this world cup i m wishing South Africa or NewZealand to take it......but wishing Pakistan , SriLanka and India good luck too !

Sorry the question was for Indians......but ....!

In ODI it would not count number how the team is or its previous files.yet how the finished team performs on that diverse day. in the different case India wouldn't have received the international cup(1983) W.I. replaced right into a procedures more beneficial useful team and that they had a sturdy list in international cup. in this journey Pak performed more beneficial useful cricket than India and gave a huge objective. inspite of the actuality that still it replaced into available in spite of the undeniable fact that the psycological stress of finals / objective Indian adult men might want to no longer conquer. Wicket of Yuvi may be seen as a turning aspect of this sport and failure of Chawala 80 5 runs in 10 overs replaced into also deadly
