Don't overwash and don't use an astringent daily. When you do wash, wash gently and rinse well.

Contrary to what the cosmetic industry wants you to think you don't need expensive facial cleansers.

Any mild bar soap or inexpensive sudsing cleanser for the face works unless you really do have problem skin such as acne.

Exfolitation takes place on it's own if you wash your face daily or twice daily and you don't need the fancy exfoliation formulas which often are abrasive and caustic and expensive.

Moisturize if needed but again go with light mild and inexpensive.

I don't like to use a washcloth as even if washed in hot water with bleach there is still bacteria in it.

I wash my hands very well and then simply wash my face with my hands.

Dry with gentle blots not rubbing.

drink alot of water!! Its really better than any stuff you can buy!

Eat vegetables and fruit, Vitamins A and C and the mineral zinc are all strongly linked with good skin. They are considered part of a healthy balanced diet, and there is usually no need to take them in supplement form. Both vitamins should be provided from your regular intake of fresh fruits and vegetables. Foods rich in Vitamin A include carrots, spinach, watercress, broccoli, yellow-fleshed sweet potato and melons such as cantaloupe. Good sources of Vitamin C are peppers, green leafy vegetables, strawberries, kiwi fruit, oranges and grapefruit.

Eat yogurt These will help to rebalance the bacteria in your gut, and will particularly help to control skin problems.

Cut Down On Tea And Coffee
Women who drink a lot of tea, coffee, hot chocolate and cola-type drinks are more likely to have tired-looking skin and to suffer from conditions such as greasy skin and spots.

If your going to drink tea make it green tea.

Take fish oil capsules
(theyre good for skin, hair and nails)

never go to bed with makeup on

wear mineral or atleast oil free make-up

dont get too much sun on your face- or wear sunscreen when u do.

moisturise

exercise

Swimming in the ocean is good for your skin and helps clear up pimples. just make sure as i said- to wear sunscrren and moisturise after.
