yeah, I saw this IN COLLEGE. NO JokE. it's twisted. BUT i think that men just do it to look cute and sensitive infront of the ladies. you think?

Well you could compare men to cats who have been expected to grow up to early. Like the cats that tend to claw and purr because they've been taken away from their mothers to soon. Men with Teddy's have been denied the stage of needing a comforter. So find this comfort from the most acceptable thing. Or they are just GREAT BIG GIRLS!!!!!!! MWHA HA HA HA ummm are you sure it was that sort of teddy. Perhaps it's transvestites wearing Teddy's?
Some young people have Teddy's as a connection with home e.g. uni students. I think that's natural so anyone who reads this question. Actually who ever you are it's acceptable to have a teddy because it's a sort of connection for you with important things. That Teddy may be your trigger for the good things that you need to remember.
I regret the first part of my answer but I leave it to show how easy it is to talk rubbish.

The only teddy I bring to bed has a girl in it and it is usually off in 2.5 seconds.
