What are Stilletoes?

God I feel retarted I know that they are shoes or heels some sort of Extremly sexy heels, but I really don't know so when would u wear them and were can u buy them?

Don't worry about it - everybody asks questions. It's stilettos, and they are just a very high thin heel. Very hard to walk in but they make your legs look very long. But again, forget about walking much.

A stiletto heel (AmE: spike heel) is a long, thin heel found on some boots and shoes, usually for women. It is named after the stiletto dagger, the phrase being first recorded in the early 1950s. Stiletto heels may vary in length from only a few centimetres up to 18 cm (7 inches), and are sometimes defined as having a diameter at the ground of less than 1 cm.

Stiletto heels transmit a large amount of force in a small area, and are therefore often stengthened by a metal rod, and a metal or hard plastic tip. You are correct - stilettoes are very high heeled shoes, generally having a very narrow heel.

As they are very difficult to walk in and often uncomfortable, stilettoes are probably not something you would wear every day. You might find a pair wherever you buy shoes, but you are more likely to find them in stores that sell lingere or fetish wear. Stiletto shoes often carry a sexual connotation and are sometimes associated with strippers, etc.

stiletto heels are thin and generally very high. Way sexy, they are also known as CFM's. You wear them anywhere, anytime you feel like strutting your stuff. You will find them at any good shoe or department store. Nine West always has a nice selection, reasonably priced. Have fun!
