on the link in my favotrites failed to get me a connection, and the manual input failed as well. I can reach the site by going to third party sites and hitting a link there. Any one have an idea how I can fix this?

that is because this site is not currently online..

that 100% packetloss means whatever server that hosts that website is currently offline/broken/being worked on..

Well I just tried it and it is indeed online at this point.
Try clearing your internet cache you may just have an error in the cache causing you not to be able to get there.
If you are running Internet Explorer go to the Tools, Select Internet Options, and clear Temorary Files. See what happens.
