Don't lose hope. Perhaps the friend you have cannot make his mind up about committing himself in a situation that is largely disdained by the society. It is this fear that is holding him from expressing his feelings towards you. He may be enjoying a sexual relationship with you at the moment, but when the time comes, he will move on to marry a woman as you tell us. This will be devastating for you, since you are the one who has shown a deeper love for him. He is iffy about the whole thing. Maybe you need to find someone who has accepted his sexuality, and is willing to face the odds. There are many gay men who believe in love, and a life long commitment. Be more self confident, and even if feelings between the two of you dissipate, do not let yourself down. There is someone out there who deserves your love more than this friend.

i do believe that there is love in homsexual relationships. I don't think it's just lust. I mean just like a striaght couple there will be lust. About the whole thing with the guy saying he loves you, go for it. If you like him back the least you can try. Hell you might goet your heart broken, but won't every ones heart get broken a few times. And as for will you still love him even if you know for a fact that he will soon end up with a girl, no one knows. You can try and figure this out but untill it happens no one will no. no one knows your feeelings and emotions better than your self. I hope this helps

Love isn't about "what if..."
Either you love somebody or you don't, it's as simple as that...
Does this mean you have to take everything from your partner? No, I don't think so. You decide how far your boundaries go but be consequent about it.
And your question about true love... yes, there is!
One couple of our male friends have been together for 40 years now, an other one for 15 years...
We have been together for 20 years; and among our female friends there a couples who have been together for 10, 15, 18 years...
Good luck in your relationship!

A gay couple can be in love just as much as a straight couple. If he says he loves you, why don't you believe it. Some people say they love someone, and they think they do, but it's not love it's just affection. When you love someone, you can't just turn it off like a faucet.
It's a very complicated, this thing called love.

true love does exist in gay relationships as in straight relationships the trouble with people of both is confusing lust with love lust doesn't last its a quick start and finish but love is the reason we find long term relationships in both.i cant help you with is it love or lust with you and your guy that's something you have to find out for yourself

Put it this way, love exists. Love is not limited by the gender of the person. Does he actually LOVE you is a question only you can answer though.

You have issues.
Loving someone is always a big risk - straight or gay.
And gay relationships DO have love - it's not just all about lust!!
When it comes to love - jump in feet first!!!!

Love, love, love -- all the wretched cant of it, masking egotism, lust, masochism, fantasy under a mythology of sentimental postures, a welter of self-induced miseries and joys, blinding and masking the essential personalities in the frozen gestures of courtship, in the kissing and the dating and the desire, the compliments and the quarrels which vivify its barrenness.
