I have heavy bleeding and pain from small fibroids. My doctor does not want to take them out at this time. He prescribed continuous birth control use (for 3 months) as a way to help me deal with the pain and bleeding. If you have tried this, what was your experience??

I am taking the Yaz. This is the pill that I would take everyday without stopping for three months.

I was prescribed this, but I could not take the medication, it made me so nauseated. I also did not want to take birth control pills as I had a tubal ligation for birth control.
I am in a lot of pain and even though I'm 33 I want to have a hysterectomy. I was offerred to try this first and there was another thing I want to try, but I am suffering a lot. It's way worse than labor pain or pain after having surgery.

If you mean the pill Seasonale I hated it. They gave it to me for endometriosis and I bled the entire 30 days I took it, I was very nauseous the first 2 weeks of taking it, I was moody as heck, I lost all of my sex drive, and I cried all the time. I didn't have any pain but the side effects were not worth it at all but it effects everyone differently. I heard some women that love it.
