trial on Experian Credit Check. I entered all the details required and was told to log out when finished. Somehow I lost the information I was reading and didn't log out. Have been trying to get back into it but can't. Now worried that my information is 'floating' somewhere! Need I worry that I didn't log out? Thanks..

Oh dear ...

Yes it will have automatically logged you out ... the only problem is, did the site get enough information to start charging you after 30 days ???

You need to contact them ASAP and tell them you lost your log-in details and don't want to continue after the end of the free trial ...

Don't worry! Unless someone else has your exact information, the Experian system most likely logged you out after a certain period of time. And if it didn't, it would probably only allow someone to log in on that particular computer, for example if you clicked "keep me signed in on this computer".

All of the websites that I have visited like the one you describe have signed me out automatically. They are designed that way being financial sites.

And you could check with Experian's help desk or FAQs. Someone there could tell you specifically not to worry.

Peace.

No, don't worry, it'll be alright. Most sites like this whichhold sensitive info will log you out automatically after a short period of inactivity (like 10 mins).
