My bf once told me that I’m hot and cool in the same time…. Personally I’ll take that as compliment, but actually I don’t understand what he said. Aren’t both just the same? Anyway, what did it mean then? That you’re so cool and also so hot as a young woman…?

its like this...it depends on what u want.
cool girl means someone who is very understandign, fun to hang around with, you know the type of girl that guys would feel comfortable hanging out with, without trying to impress her or anything.. its like the sexual tension is relaxed..friendly..guys might share there feelings with these cool girls only(apart from their girlfriends)
hot girl is more to do wit physical appearance...its purely physical...the woman everyone is lookin at or wanna dance wit....
so it depends on you...if u want guys to be friendly wit u then be a cool girl...but if u want the more steamy things then the hot girl..
BUT the hot and cool girl is what most guys want..so according to ur bf u are more close to being his ideal woman...

Since I'm not all crazy about a girl being hot. Not that I wouldn't mind, since I like hot chicks. But, a girl doesn't have to be top 10 as far as looks, because there are many that look good that I am definitely happy with that might not exactly be "hot". So, I would rather have a "cool", cute gf, than a smoking hot biotch. The reason is becausew I cute girls, pretty girls are definitely great. I mean if a guy could have a hot girl and she is cool then that would be great, of course. But, I'm not sure how many hot women have that quality, so it might be hard to find dual qualities.

It's better to be a cool girl. Cool has to do with personality. It means you are laid back, which sometimes seems a very rare trait in young women. Hot has more to do with looks, which is fine, but looks fade eventually. Cool is for life.
Mostly, I'd just say you're boastful. A cool girl would never brag over compliments she received from her boyfriend over Yahoo Answers. It's quite possible you're hot though.

cool is a term used for temperment whereas hot is a term used for sexuality and what he means is that you are tempermentaly a sound and good girl and cool headed and you are as hot as you can be to give him the best pleasure.
