I know of many people that have been not only psychologically scarred for life, but some bear physical scars from incidents with ouija boards.

Only dark and mischievious spirits use the ouija board, unless a practiced medium is conducting the seance.

They should definately NOT be sold as toys!!!

When i was 20.
Yes something happened.
The glass moved very fast and erratically and spelled out 'go to number 34 -ask for jay - money behind the moon' as well as lots of roman numerals.
When we went to the house on our street there was a man called Jay there and he had a 10 pound note pinned to the wall behind a poster of the moon landings. We continued to use the board in Jays house. It then spelled out 'cristians ill, christian dead'. at that point Jay kicked us out as his brother was called Christian. coincidences? quite possibly. Still scared us though. The house never felt the same after that.
I would advise anyone not to do it. Whether there is any truth behind it, it will still mess with your head.

I've used them twice. Once when I was fourteen, we were just messing around and had a scary incident involving my car and a spirit that wouldn't leave.

The second time was just recently, i'm nineteen, we made our own and were very courteous to the spirit or energy contacted. Asked him a couple of questions, had actually a really good time. Then nicely said goodbye and he left, no freaky experiences at all.

The key really is to be courteous and considerate to whomever you contact.

Lots of activity, pretty sure it wasn't anyone else as there were too many people involved and everyone pushing in different directions. We tried to move it as an experiment and it was impossible.
I found that it seemed to have negative results and created a 'bad' feeling.
Anything I've done since has been done with everyone holding a pen over a piece of paper. A lot more successful and no bad feeling.

Yes, once, but we were more than slightly intoxicated so I don't think I could provide an objective opinion on the complete accuracy of them. It gave answers but I think we helped it to much.

there was a dog present and he started howling and howling.
Then the phone rang and scared us all witless - there was no-one at the other end!

nothing happened at all, I was very disappointed, I think there is nothing in it, people who claim something happens must be moving the glass them selves?? Unless I was doing it wrong or in an unsuitable place, it was in my mates little flat, maybe we should have tried a grave yard??
