clean all around the door and rubber and put a hot wash on with no clothes in the boil wash with some powder.
check water is draining away ok check the drainage hose for kinks.
I noticed with my machine they use less water than machine 13 yrs ago and mine will get mud and dirt in the rubber that i need to wipe after a wash.
before u wash check filter its at the bottum at front normally covered by a panel its a twist open have a old towel down for some water spillage and check its clean and clear if not clean it put back in and then do empty wash.

Sounds like soap scum. This would either be due to insufficient rinsing or the pump not emptying the machine properly. Have you watched the machine go through it's cycle to see how many rinses it gives(normally about 5) and does the drum empty completely between each rinse. Also what programme do you use. Is it appropriate to the type of washing being done. Do you drastically overload the machine.Try washing about 6 not too large articles on a 40degree programme using one soap tablet or bubble. Does that look any better? Otherwise you might have to call someone in to advise you.Keep a couple of not too clean items to show the person the problem.

Washing machines have been made more energy efficient in recent times, as a result they now wash at lower temperatures. As a result soap scum and dirt get left in the drum. What you need to do is a service wash once a month.
With an empty drum set the temperature to the maximum setting and use the normal washing powder etc.
Allow the machine to go a full cycle as the hot water will clean most of the dirt out of the washer, if the sum on the rubber seal is real bad, us a light bleach and water solution on a rag to remove the worst of it.

Does your washer have a small door at the bottom if so open it and screw out the filter and clean it. If not turn off the electric take the back off look where the outlet pipe comes from and unscrew the pipe the pump my be blocked there will be water in it. You only need something small to reduce the flow and so not empty properly. Put the back panel on before switching back on.

It does sound as if you have a build up of calcium in your water which is clogging up your machine.
You can add a product like Calgon into your wash and it will break down the calcium deposits.
If you feel that your washing is still dirty after running this product in your machine for about a week...you can get some answers from:
www.diynot.com.
i've used this website for years...it is run by professional trades persons and there are numerous forums that you can leave your problem and someone will answer you.
Good Luck

Try doing an empty wash on a hot cycle with some disinfectant in there (don't use bleach or the next few loads will come out with bleach spots). Alternatively, take it to a repair centre (or call someone out) and have the seals changed.

You can wash around the inside door rubber with a cloth and warm water with a mild detergent. You can flush the machine through with a hot wash, detergent and no clothes to see if that helps. Does it have a lint trap or filter or anything? Sounds like that could be blocked, but I wouldn't know where it's located.
