Is it possible to reset a pearl that is already in a ring?

I've purchased a southsea golden pearl ring but would like it to be in a different setting. How difficult is it, or is it possible to reset pearls?

Get a jewellers to tell you. I couldn't reset a pearl because there was no room to remove it and the jeweller feared the pearl could be damaged
