I got my period for the first time about ten days after my 12th birthday, and continued to get them every month on the 28th until my 14th birthday.

First, they started coming earlier (around the 10th) and they only lasted a three days. Then they started coming around the 2nd and only lasted one day or two at the most. I had large gaps inbetween periods. And now, for the past three months I haven't had anything!

I'm NOT sexually active.

Periods can be irregular for many years after you first get them. This is not abnormal. It can be normal to get periods every couple of weeks, or miss several after you have started getting it! 12 is in the earlier part of the range at which girls get thier periods, and at 14, you don't need to worry.

If you are very physically active or if you are not getting adequate nutrition, this could contribute to missed periods. Stopping your period is one of the first things your body does when it is not getting enough energy. If you are taking any medication with hormones, this could also affect your cycle.

totally normal for a girl your age(15 or under I presume). A normal cycle is 28 days so it will probably not come on the same day each month, but a couple days earlier each time... like the 5th one month, the 3rd the next, and the 1st the next.

This is not uncommon. Your period won't tend to settle down until your early 20's when your hormones become more balanced. Don't worry too much, but if you think it is unusual and you are worried, see your doctor

did you have sex or not? if not it's just a cycle for women, i also experience that sometimes and around months when my period would not come. maybe you have eaten something that made your menstrual cycle stop, why don't you try to drink boiled ampalaya, try it and tell me what's the result.
