Once I had to go because my car was stolen. I had to take the day off work and I hung around outside the court all day in 40 degree heat then the police came outside and told me the lady that was being charged hadn't shown up. Two weeks later when it was rescheduled, I took another day off work and I didn't even get inside the court room again. I was waiting outside and the police came up to me and told me to go home as she'd pleaded guilty and they didn't need me there.

Yes, I have been to court. Our side of the case was won, but we weren't exactly the ones fighting. Social Services placed my husband's nephews in our custody. We had to fight with social services against the mother twice. We've had the kids for 4 years and we have another case involving them coming up again soon. I hope we win again and continue to have custody of the boys.

Divorced twice, the second one with kids. I hired the biggest idiot lawyer of all time. Paid him $26,000 and still lost my kids. I hope that con artist slides under a gas truck and sees the other end of his chim-chim.
