Is £9bn (at least) for the London Olympics a fair price or could the money be better spent elsewhere?

Does anyone want the olympics here or is it just Lord Coe and his co(e)horts?

It's never going to be worth £9Bill for the country - even the Sydney Olympics didn't make that much up until now, probably not even a 5th of that figure.

The money should be spent on hospitals or schools - not junkets for Lord Coe and all the other Olympic hangers-on
