I don't have any problem with it as long as you don't go crazy. I was just curious.

Got the point across...
Gee I wish my kids would be able to understand the true meaning of fearing punshiment... what with these organizations breathing down parents' necks and all, telling them what they can and cannot do...
And then they wonder why we have some many bad kids these days...

No...Mom only had to spank me once...I was 6 yrs old & wanted to sleep in her bed with her....she had just had my little sister & then had to have an emergency historectomy....not knowing what all that meant....when Mom told me no....I kind of threw a fit....throwing myself down on the bed....where she was sitting...she came up way laying on me...LOL....OMG...I still remember her asking me if this hurt....when I said no..she would spank me harder...until I finally said yes...then she sat down & cried....She tells me she cried more for what she did to me...then she did the pain...
After that...if I even looked like I was going to misbehave she would just kick off her flip flop & point to it...I would be good after that...
My sister on the other hand....OMG...she wore a permanent flip flop or wooden spoon mark on her butt....LOL

Yea, my dad beat the latino out of us, we never respected him though...my mom never beat us but we respected her to the point that Im married and pregnant and if she says to me today dont do this...I wont! I think you have to find a happy medium, but if you wanna know my opinion I think you should spank when necesary....a spanking now and then may keep them off the bad stuff.

yes, and i spank my son when he needs it too. i grew up happy and fine, and my son is the happiest little kid you'd ever meet. do u have problems with spanking?

I had many a wooden spoon broken over my rear. Then my school also liked to dish out the wollopings. I had it coming from all angles.
