Instead of being trustworthy and pay bills when you got the money for that month. How stupid is that to have due date every month for our bills.

You don't have to pay it on the due date, you can pay it any time before that, sometimes even a month before that. There's plenty of freedom to pay when you get your money.

Our car insurance is due on the 6th, we pay it on the 1st. Our cell phone bill is due on the 27th, we pay it on the 15th. If we tried to pay our insurance on the 15th and cell phones the following 1st, then it would be a problem.

You're just working off the wrong month's money.

Businesses have to adhere to specific rules for an accounting cycle. This means that they have to be able to classify when they provided the service to you and when they expect payment for that service. There is a basic concept in which sales and payments must be matched to the same time frames.

Would you like it if your employer decided to pay you when he got the money for the month? I would think that you want your check on a certain date. Same concept. You provide work, your employer pays you on a specific date.
Your electric company provides electricity, you pay them by a specific date.

things are not based on trust unfortunately. there are rules. orders to follow. its stupid NOT to have due dates etc. everything would be so chaotic. imagine if people payed whenever they felt like or whatever. businesses-banks-government would be more complicated than they are already. having due dates for certain things keeps the natural order of things flowing as smoothly as possible.

if there wasn't a due date, some people just wouldn't bother to pay that month, saying i didn't know when it was to be payed.
