I like to be nude when my family is asleep. and i want to know about the nudist life style do i have to be over 18 to go to nudist events.

There's nothing to fear about nudism. It's a natural and normal desire to not be restricted by clothing. You seem to indicate your concern your family won't understand your nudist ideas. Have you actually discussed it with them?
Most Nudist clubs require you to be 18 or older to visit without your family, but there are many nude beaches and swimming holes where it is legal. Nudism is acceptable on most Federal land, and designated beaches are available along the west coast from Vancouver to San Diego, Sandy Hook, in New Jersey, and Haulover Beach, near Miami. There are also many hot springs in the Western US, and lakes & rivers all around the country where clothing is optional.
Research nudist etiquette before you go so you will know what to expect and what is expected of you. Don't make the mistake of thinking of it as a sexual experience. That will make you very unwelcome. There's nothing to fear, just behave as you would in church.
After you've researched nudism, you might want to discuss it with a member of your family to test their opinion. You might be surprised. I've met many friends in nudist resorts that I never would have thought I'd see there.

being a nudist is great just like wearing clothes i have had a lot of fun at different campgrounds met alot of good people so what is the difference we are all naked sometime somewhere i love it

idk i am not a nudist and i have no nudist friends........
in fact i dont like wearing a bathingsuit in public......
