I am tired of people posting sources at wikipedia.

I don't know. At least people can follow the links to Wikipedia and check out the source. If you cite a source in a printed book, the questioner is far less likely to follow up on it.

I don't see any problem with this. Wikipedia is a great source of information and if it is better able to explain an answer to a question, I'll source it.

what source is better, free, safe + trusted, and relatively complete? if someone asks a question that is most easily answered by perusing wikipedia, then perhaps they don't know about wikipedia.

perhaps that is what yahoo answers is for; to tell people about wikipedia. and to save the christians from their religion.
