it workd 1 day then the next the computer doesn't even recognise it when i plug it in. I love my ipod soo much lol and it's really bugging me now.I have tried different suggestions from the apple site but getting no luck, don't really want to have to uninstall, reinstall :( any ideas? thanks again :)

connect it to pc, then click: 'safely remove hardware' on the bottom toolbar, find iPod and delete it...
disconnect it and plug back in, computer will find it again...
also try 'system restore' (control panel/performance/ top left hand side) g luck

ipod had a problem with there batteries and the symptoms you state are a result of this,the only way you might be able to get it sorted out is by either taking it back to where you bought it and asking for a replacement or sending it back to apple, who will exchange the ipod for a new one for you, at a reduced purchase cost. you need to go to the ipod site and check to see if you fall into the category that would enable you to do this. Also check the watchdog.com site as this was an issue they dealt with about 3 years ago.
