I am looking to buy a Henry Vacuum cleaner as lots of people have recommened it to me. I wanted to know whether it comes with extra nozzle/brush attatchments or just the one.If not can you get extra attatchments.I have laminate floor and carpet so is henry good for both? Has anyone got any views on the Henry Vacuum to help make up my mind?

I have never heard of a Henry vacuum cleaner and I am a vacuuming freak! I love to see the lines in the carpet!
So, you may ask, why am I answering this question? Well, it's to give you another option for a fantastic vacuum cleaner. I think you may not be in the States so I'm not sure if it is available there but if so, a Dyson is worth looking into.
I just recently purchased a Dyson DC17 Animal (made for dirt and animal hair). It comes with a low profile head for getting under furniture, an upholstery attachment, a brush, crevice tool, a mattress tool, carpet cleaning granules and a spray for getting out oil based stains and another larger brush head. And there are no bags to empty. You just hold it over a trash can and hit the release button. I can't say enough good stuff about this vaccum. It revitalized the carpet at my house (only 3 1/2 years old) and at my boyfriends historic house (no telling how long that carpet has been in place). It seems to make the air in the house smell better too...maybe it's because it got all the old dirt up out of the carpet. The first time I vacuumed my house (1200 SF), I had to empty the bin 3 times (full of dirt, dog hair and a little carpet fuzz) and I vaccumed it with my old vacuum immediately before using the new Dyson. And for my floors without carpet, I press a button to stop the beater brush from spinning so it picks up hair and dirt from the laminate floors quite well also and doesn't clog the brush up with hair...just sucks it into the bin.

YAY! I love my Henry. It's so cute. It has a smiley face on it so when you vacuum it follows you around smiling. Yay!

Henry has a lot of attachments. It has a small one for getting in cracks and crevices, brushes, a carpet attachment, and a couple others.

You would use the hard floor attachment for your laminate and the carpet attachment for the carpet. Both work great and get the job done. It never looses suction and changing it's bag is a snap. Plus it doesn't shoot stuff into the air and actually filters is as you go around. It's amazing.

Henry is a very good machine, but its semi industrial and VERY cumbersome on stairs. It comes with a stair tool, crevice tool and dusting brush, and the main floor tool has retractable brushes. A better machine for Carpets would need a Turbo head, or "air driven brush bar"

The Miele CAT and DOG is great for carpets and hard floors, otherwise the Miele S4210 is a nice compromise. Much more finesse than henry, and powerful and refined too

If you plan on picking up any decorating mess, or builders rubble or anything like that, then go for Henry.

I have a Henry and it is a very good vacuum. Henry is the smallest of the range, there are bigger ones that are more industrial called George and I think Albert. They are for shops and airports!.
It is great for cleaning the car, wife's *** ends are gone in a jiffy. Tried it on her but she was too fat!
