something long and slinky that will make u look a million dollars, will be comfortable all night and you can wear again, even if its not long you can still wear a kinda 'garden party' frock..coast has some really beautiful ones, check them out in john lewis or debenhams...sorry if you're not in the uk..maybe jc penny might have some(lol its the only shop in the US i know..oh wait a minute, i do know more..macey's ha x

Something purple. You could go traditional and wear a dress, (albeit a purple one) or go mad and wear a catsuit :-P You'll also need blue on it somewhere for the smurf factor. You could also give yourself a mowhawk! Lmao...
