I did 6 shop bought preg tests and 2 doctors ones and ALL were negative.

I was SO desperate for a baby, and they all said I wasn't pregnant and yet I FELT pregnant.

The doc thought I was mad and wanted to do invasive tests to find out what was wrong with me.

Turns out that I WAS pregnant and the tests (that I refused) could have caused a miscarriage.

Keep doing what you are doing and keep trying. If the tests are neg and you ARE pregnant, then you are not going to stop being pregnant just because the test says you're not.

It's hard, I know, and it's a horrible waiting game.

I wish you heaps of luck. Just keep trying and keep it fun, don't make it a chore.

I went down the road of "doing it every day without fail" and it didn't work, it isn't a guarantee.

Please, try and relax and it WILL happen in its own time.

The very best of luck to you both x

I understand how anxious you are to find out, but really 7 days is not that long a delay, unless your periods are always regular. Even if they usually are, it might be that it's your anxiousness that is in fact causing the delay.

Home pregnancy tests are quite accurate. I'd suggest that you try to relax and hang in there for just a little bit longer. You might very well get your period today or tomorrow. If you're extremely anxious, do another home test.

If you decide to do another home test and it is positive, I'd make an appointment with a doctor. If your period doesn't show up in a few days, I'd still go see a doctor, even if the home test's again negative. A test done in the laboratory is more accurate than a home test, during your visit a doctor would be able to confirm if you're pregnant or not and there'll be no more uncertainty that's the worst.

If you're not pregnant this time, don't be discouraged. I don't know your circumstances, but if you've just started trying to conceive I wouldn't expect it to happen right away. However, it might happen really soon, maybe next time! Good luck, will keep my fingers crossed for you.

There are times when a negative will come back early on in the pregnancy..within the first few days so you should do another one. Negatives can sometimes be positives but positives are always positives. That's what I read somewhere. Sorry cant remember. Better to check with your doc though.

it could be too early to tell with those home pregnancy tests. They have to be able to pick up that hormone inside your urine that tells if you're pregnant. Just wait for a few more weeks and try again. You're probably pregnant.
