Should we let them be? Should we go to war? What is the real issue here...could it be the US wants to control the oil rich countries?

going into a war with IRAN is a BIG mistake. they are more powerful than u think. IRANIANS ARE DIFFERENT. the war will cost MANY MANY lives and will take atleast 10 years. theyve got secret weapons and so many people willing to die for the good of their country. Believe me, it wont be worth it.

Once Iran reaches the point of no return ie she has the knowledge to create a superior nuclear technology (that is advanced in comparision to just providing energy via nuclear means) the US may strike, this will delay the nuclear programme by x number of years but will not extinguish it as the Iranians will slowly regrasp the goal of their current programme. Oil is an issue but so are nuclear weapons, to say otherwise is to suggest that there would never ever be a war conducted via nuclear means,

Actually I don't see anything wrong with a nuclear reactor in Iran. What I do see wrong is a leader that calls for the destruction of an other country. I find it odd how he can say in one sentence that the US has no right to invade a sovereign nation and then reserve the right for Iran to wipe on out another. Calls the UN security council illegitimate but a month before says they should do something about Palestine. A country who wishes for his nation to strive and become a member of world leaders should be a bit more diplomatic and prove they are worthy of such goals other wise they will continue to be consider "evil"....sound familiar ;-)

There is absolutely nothing to solve...Iran is not doing anything illegal...They have signed the nuclear non proliferation treaty,so they have every right to a nuclear program as long as it is used in civil purposes...And no one can prove that it isn't...
There is no real reason to go to war with Iran and attacking Iran would be a huge mistake.Iran is not Iraq and this won't be a regional conflict. It would involve so many countries and it would definitely turn into another world war...No one has anything to win from attacking Iran...

Iraq has sovereign right to develop nuclear technology, no matter if it is for generating electricity or nuclear weapons.

US wants to control the Oil Rich Countries of the world

1. Saudi Arabia is already under its influence.
2. Iraq has been invaded and occupied.
3. Iran is the second largest oil producer under target

Nuclear Weapons ? Only US is the only country in the world which has used Nuclear Weapons to kill thousands of people

US is unnecessarily acting as a Global Police, which is NOT REQUIRED.

US Economy is slowing down - Wasting money in weapons, wars and economic aids to Afghanistan and Iraq are making holes in its economic resources.

I'm with "aint" on this one; we MUST stand behind Israel. "Sad" also has a vital point; it's going to cost many many lives indeed. Nevertheless, we can't allow a madman (Ahmadinejad) to acquire nuclear weapons. I personally believe the US is going to take unilateral military action against the nuclear facilities of Iran, "unless" the international community can get their "diplomatic" butts off their "highbrowed" perches and give Iran one more deadline: UN Resolution stating Iran has 30 days to allow complete IAEA monitoring and/or inspections of ALL it's nuclear facilities, or the UN, US, RUSSIA, CHINA, EUROPEAN UNION, i.e., the world community will combine to "take out" those same nuclear facilities. But this is not going to happen; there's just too many back room deals and/or interests involved.

In summary, the US must support Israel, and if that means TOTAL WAR, so be it.

I think what worked in Japan, is good enough for Iran...

We should stand behind Israel. Ahmedinejad has already made it clear that as soon as he has the ability he is going take Israel off the map. The day is coming soon when Israel will strike those nuclear facilities and we should stand behind them when they do.
