The cartoon version I think was called just "Moomin". It freaked me out!

It gave me nightmares! And I still shudder to think about it! Sniff's voice sounded EVIL! And the groke was scary too.

Yes! That was just so scary. They were all really strange hippo type creatures, except for this one little female thing with a foul expression, called Mim or something. She was horrible! That surely would have given most kids nightmares?

lol, A friend of mine (now 31) Had a striking resemblence and thus was given the nickname Moomin' Troll - We still call him by that name today!!! - Oh, what Memories!

lol yeah! Who was that evil girl with the hat..that was a spooky *** cartoon..in fact lots of kids programs back then were like that..round the twist, grotbags..no wonder we are so messed up ;)
