In a jury, deadlock means the members of the jury cannot agree on the guilt or innocence of the accused. This can apply to any group debating the possible outcome of anything or anyone. Simply put, the people involved cannot agree on the subject at hand. Hope this helps!!

Deadlock is also a type of door lock. It means it is very very hard to break the lock, and a key is needed to unlock the door when it is deadlocked, inside and outside. Hope this helps.
