Do you like to "invent things"?

If so, what kind of things do you like to invent?

I have invented things, small inventions that assist the arts, or are geared towards sport minded entertainment.
The problem is financing. First the financing of the patent, then the financing of manufacturing. Other aspects demand an amount of money to get the inventions out into the market and I'm not sure that it would be feasible. The inventions I've worked out are for niche markets with no guarantee of a recovery of any investment. I can't afford that.

i like to invent new sauces to cook, and new methods for teaching.
