I just got one for my question "how do you get cat fur out of a meat grinder?"

I sent an e-mail to Yahoo protesting the violation. Will I at least get a response from a human? Is there any hope in getting the violation removed and having my question and answers un-deleted?

I sent them a batch of 6 - and they let me off on 4.

Later they wrote to change their minds on 3 of them.

The one that got recovered was:

Where does the beach end and the sea bed begin.

It was violated for using beach and bed - duh

Good luck

Strange thing is - if you re-post the violated question it usually survives the 2nd time.

you might actually get a response from a human. i did when i got a violation for asking what people's starbucks order would be. but they will probably not help you.

i asked what the violation was for, since it was definitely a P or an S, posted in P & S. i said that the violation was an error and i would like my points back.

my response was that they couldn't tell me the details of the violation, but i should read my TOS.

i emailed back that their explanation was useless and that people were continuing to be violated unfairly...another response saying read my TOS.

it's long, but i posted the emails in my blog.

Yes I have. I asked a silly one about being in the Answers Anonymous and it got deleted saying it was communicating to participants or something or other and I said if thats the case then they don't need to have this stupid site because every question is somewhat communicating to each other in a way. It got un-deleted.

Well, there's a chance. The odds are probably about the same as winning something in the lottery - it happens, but to one out of a zillion.

Most likely, you've just been visited by the fickle finger of fate.
