most favorite? darn.... that's tough. I kinda like these (but I wouldn't necessarily consider them to be *goosebump worthy*)

"I didn't go to see the city,
I went to see it around you".

Relief, by Chris Garneau

"Ripple"
composed and written by Jerry Garcia and Robert Hunter.

If my words did glow with the gold of sunshine
And my tunes were played on the harp unstrung
Would you hear my voice come through the music
Would you hold it near as it were your own?

It's a hand-me-down, the thoughts are broken
Perhaps they're better left unsung
I don't know, don't really care
Let there be songs to fill the air

(Chorus)

Ripple in still water
When there is no pebble tossed
Nor wind to blow

Reach out your hand if your cup be empty
If your cup is full may it be again
Let it be known there is a fountain
That was not made by the hands of men

There is a road, no simple highway
Between the dawn and the dark of night
And if you go no one may follow
That path is for your steps alone

(Chorus)

You who choose to lead must follow
But if you fall you fall alone
If you should stand then who's to guide you?
If I knew the way I would take you home

Oh there are so many that i just love and give me goosebumps everytime...but to name just one of my many favourites...it would be this lyric from a song called "Acoustic #3" by The Goo Goo Dolls:

"And I wonder where these dreams go, When the world gets in your way, What's the point in all this screaming, No one's listening anyway".

From the song 'End of the Line' by the Traveling Wilburys:

"Well it's alright
Even if they say you're wrong
Well it's alright
Sometimes you gotta be strong

Well it's alright
As long as you got somewhere to lay
Well it's alright
Everyday is just one day"

Amazingly good song, you should give it a listen! :o)

I just want to scream...hello...
My god it's been so long
never dreamed you'd return
but now here you are and
here I am

Elderly Woman Behind The Counter In A Small Town Lyrics-

i seem to recognize your face
haunting, familiar, yet i can't seem to place it
cannot find the candle of thought to light your name
lifetimes are catching up with me
all these changes taking place, i wish i'd seen the place
but no one's ever taken me
hearts and thoughts they fade, fade away...
hearts and thoughts they fade, fade away...
i swear i recognize your breath
memories like fingerprints are slowly raising
me, you wouldn't recall, for i'm not my former
it's hard when, you're stuck upon the shelf
i changed by not changing at all, small town predicts my fate
perhaps that's what no one wants to see
i just want to scream...hello...
my god its been so long, never dreamed you'd return
but now here you are, and here i am
hearts and thoughts they fade...away...
hearts and thoughts they fade...away...
hearts and thoughts they fade, fade away...
hearts and thoughts they fade...

and even though,
i made mistakes
and never do anything right
a smile, a hug
can change all that
and everything will be alright...
