My significant other and myself are young. We feel that we are not ready to have a child. She is well over ten days late, but the result of the pregnancy test was negative. We are both very scared and do not know what is going on with her body. We used ant EPT test, which are supposed to be accurate. Is there any sort of explanation to our situation?

A woman's cycle can be late because of stress and weight loss and gain. If this one was negative then she is probably not pregnant... but to be sure she should take another in a few days first thing that morning. If you are not ready to have a baby, remember that before having sex.

Girls skip periods man, it just happens. Test again with another EPT in a few days. If she skips next month too, you'll need a urine test at a Planned Parenthood/Doc's office. I'm hoping for the best for the two of you.

At 10 days the test should be positive if she's pregnant. However, just to be on the safe side maybe you should test again after another 10 days if she hasn't started her period.
