Is it true about q6600 cut off price around Q3 this year?

I've read some post in some forums and they said that q6600 will be just around $250-$300 in q3 this year... Is it true or is it near impossible to happen? I want to upgrade my pc now and because of what I've read, I'm thinking twice to posponed it and upgrade when the quad core is already cheap...

Intel will neither confirm or deny the price cut so we just have to wait and see

In an interview on march the 16th, Intel's Public Relations Manager Dan Snyder said: "I cannot confirm nor deny any price cuts, but price cuts are a normal part of this industry."
