I've taken Plan B (the "morning after pill") twice now, both times when I forgot to take my regular birth control pill. At the time a woman still needed a prescription for it. My insurance didn't cover it and it cost me about $45 if I can remember right.

Now it is available over the counter without a prescription. You need to be 18 to buy it or have a parents consent. If you are under 18 you can always go to Planned Parenthood and get it. That's where I went the first time I needed it. I was only 17 at the time.

I'm not sure how much it would be in Canada, but I doubt it would be much more expensive or cheaper then the USA price. You can always call your local drug store or pharmacy and ask them how much it would be. Good luck!

make sure you take it within 48 hours I took mine at 53 hours and I am now 4 months pregnant, it is not 100 percent effective, they say it works within 72 but the rates of it working properly the more you leave it.

In Australia it costs about 50 dollars, I think in Canada its about 30 dollars have a look around the web
Iw ill never take it again, try to use a more effective method of contraception
