I have been working out the last month or so. I have lifting a lot more with my pectorals especially. A week ago I noticed a lump had formed in my left pec, barely left of my nipple. Anyways, I am pretty sure that this lump didn’t exist before a month ago and since I stopped working out my pecs last week it has not gone away. Is there anybody who could give me better insight into this? I am a 21 year old white male 180lbs if that helps. Thanks! -Devin

hmmm, how big is the lump? It could be breast tissue, especially if you have been working out a lot, sometimes increased testosterone (from working out, etc) can cause very small amounts of breast tissue to form, that's why a lot of guys nipples get tinder during puberty. It could also be a cyst, which is just like a puss ball that forms under the skin, I had one on my lip, and a friend of mine hand one on his arm, they can be removed easily. Those are the only two ideas I have, if it doesn't go away soon I'd go see a doctor about it.

LOL @ first answer, a friend of mine has a third nipple just below his right one.

Does this lump hurt? could be hernia, or maybe a tumor, get it checked out.
