Over all the best metal band of all time is Metallica, but in the past few years nothings as good as Killswitch Engage. If u havent heard them, check em out. Sorry dont know any christian metal bands.

1. For the best metal band, i give ten bands, ok :
a. Exodus, american, the amazing thrash metal band with the cool riff and they are always play some old stuff metal music.
b. Razor, canadian, very nasty thrash metal band that you should dig deep, they play some rough music mix with old school music also and very nice to listen.
c. Sodom, germany, i have nothing to say about the one of the legend in thrash metal music. So dig them.
d. Testament, american, bay area always give to the world some amazing bands to dig, they play also thrash metal music and listen to their first album, then you know what i said.
e. Gravestone, germany, this band play some old 80's metal music, and just listen to their "master of the earth" song.
f. Vampyr, germany, 1 album ever release by them, but this album really make my day, just listen to this old time heavy metal band, and you will know what you listen to,.
g. Necrodeath, italy, this band is really make your blood go boiling and make your heart beat faster, they play some old thrash/death metal music, and their purest sound is really amazing, just hit their "fragment of insanity" album in your stereo and your room will be blown.
h. Bulldozer, italy, the amazing trio metaller, if i can say they are the one you should listen, and all their album have to be listened especially neurodeliri album. Check them out.
i. Motorhead, Uk, no need explanation for this master.
j. Napalm Death, UK, if you love a grindcore/ death metaller band then please choose this one, they are one of father in that genre.
