How old were you and what is the legal age.
I was 16 and the legal age is 18.
Ironically, I don't drink very often these days. I think I out grew it.

The legal age to drink in Canada is 19,but I was 12 the first time I got drunk.

Not very many people I knew back then were of age the first time they got drunk. In my teens I got drunk. My 20's I drank alot, from 20-24 I was a sailor. I went long periods w/out drinking. Six months to one year. Soon after I turned thirty I restricted my drinking to social events. Soon I'm going to be 37, and it has been close to one year since I have even had a beer. I think that I choose not to indulge in alcohol now because I have finally out grown it.

I don't remember when was the first time I actually was drunk but I do not drink, never got into it because my first husband is an alcoholic and my new husband does not touch it. Legal age in my state was 19 when I was 19 but it was turned to 21.

I went to a Polish wedding at age 16. I was dancing and drinking alcohol for the first time, and the floor started to tip 45 degrees every time I turned. It was rough.
