Hi there

Well congradulations thats great, its somethign very special

well eat loads of fruits and Vegies, stay away from to much sugar and sweets (you can get diabetes very easily when pregnant) Gatorade is great to keep your potassium and sodium levels up and keep you hydrated, my doctor recommended one gatorade or powerade per day. Cereals are also great for you and high in Folic Acid, make sure you buy some folic acid tablets 0.4 mg to take every day without fail, this helps the nervious system of your baby grow properly and stops major problems with spinal cord etc.. Most women even start taking it before getting pregnant, I started at 5 weeks though, as I didn't know about it before hand, dont take multi vitamins unless your gynocologyst has done blood tests on you to see where you are deficient first, as multi vitamins can be bad if you are have high levels of certain vitamins and minerals in your system.

Red meat and white meat are fine, but be careful of deep sea fish as they have high mercury levels which can effect your baby. Also be very careful of chicken, make sure it is super fresh, nto reheated or re freezed, if you are not careful you can catch dangerous bacteria that can cause still birth, other things that can cause still birt are soft cheeses, like bree etc also stay away from raw meats, salami, hot dogs, ham etc...

Best of luck with your pregnancy and drink loads of water

Many hugs

wow, that is a very broad question. You can buy a book called "What to expect, when expecting". That is one of the best book. When I was pregnant as a first time Mom, I've read that book and it really helped a lot. You can get em on EBAY real cheap. Good luck and Congrats! You can also go to some website..

have happy thoughts, read good books, watch happy movies, stay with positive people, appreciate the sunshine, the flowers and yourself. Eat fresh fruits (avoid papaya), lots of vegetables, lean meats, eggs, milk and anything else you may fancy. Try to avoid fried foods, spicy foods and processed foods (anything in a can is a no no, at least it was for me). go for walks, spend time with friends and most importantly - SMILE

You can eat anything as long as it agrees with you.
and
You can do everything you have been doing as long as it is not bouncing, riding horses, accidents of some sort and excessive bumping.

Hmm. I guess this debunks the myth of "post partum depression" (another liberal lie).
