See a doctor right away!
My grandpa had something like that happen and he ended up loosing his foot because he refused to go to the doctor. It could be a blood clot or that a tendon has startrted to rub up against a bone. Either would rather be safe than sorry.

My toes are always freezing too! Does your foot hurt to touch? You may have strained a muscle in that spot, it can happen when we are still and chilly then suddenly expect the muscle to perform its normal function. Another possibility is that you popped a blood vessel when you moved suddenly, that can hurt like a son of a gun! Feels a bit like a broken bone. That would explain the hot feeling in that spot. You could try putting a cold pack on it for awhile and see if that helps. I wouldn't worry too much about it unless it persists. In that case you should see a Dr.. Things to watch for would be: numbness, tingling, loss of sensation, inability to use the foot, color change (purple, blue, or blanched) loss of pulses in the foot, etc. Good Luck, God Bless!

It was probably nothing of importance. The other day I had chest pain and got scared. I guess it wasn't a heart attack because I'm still here. If you are seriously worried see a doctor have a checkup.

It could be anything from a foot cramp to plantar fasciitis to poor blood circulation.
