But, it is when a little bit of blood is emitted vaginally when a woman is pregant. When that happens, it is very worrisome. It could indicate problems.

Spotting isnt always a bad thing so dont listen to all the other people trying to freak you out, I have spotted loads of times and my baby is fine, it normally happens around the time that my period would normally come, but doesn't because I am pregnant instead of that I get little blots here and there of blood. Loads of women experience this, and if it happen you just see your doctor get a ultrasound and double check that everything is fine, if it is aborting you normally see quite alotof blood, not just tiny bits of spotting.

Anyway relax, and if its happening like I said check it out with your doctor

by the way that stupid comment about being active during pregnancy is not right, it is actually proven that healthy active excersizing mums have healthier babies, quicker recovery and quicker births, and loose weight wuicker after birth... Only women with high risk pregnancies should not be active, so dont pay attention to that

It's a sign of a POSSIBLE problem, it could be anything really. I had a friend who was spotting during her pregnancy and ultimately wound up losing the baby.

If memory serves, the spotting started because she was trying to be too active during her pregnancy...too much lifting, walking, etc.
