Filipinos are great. Some of them are very noble. Some of them give up their lives so that their brothers and sisters can live a better life. Some give up their lives to spread the word of God or educate children and young people in the Christian or Catholic Schools. The Filipinos are gifted with two gifts among many. One is their Catholic or Christian faith. Another gift is their music and musicality. Many of them are very hard working. The Filipinos are among the most hard working workers in the world. The quality of their work is superb. Some of them go to Saudi Arabia to give their families a better life. Without Filipinos, Saudi Arabia may have no workers and the country would no longer be able to function. Filipinos are among the most gifted musicians and artists in the world. They have produced many beauty queens and pianists like Cecile Licad. Leah Salonga has won awards for acting in Theater. Many Filipinos are missionaries in many countries around the world. They leave their families to do God's work in remote areas like Africa, Asia and the other continents. The Filipino model of a peaceful bloodless revolution has paved the way for the fall of Communism in Europe and other parts of the world. The Filipinos love for the truth and democracy has helped their economy become a strong nation. When time comes for people to unite and help the nation they come forth and sacrifice time and resources to ensure a better future for future generations. They have many good qualities. They are not perfect though but I know many Filipinos who have sterling qualities.

My fiance is also half filipino. He's wonderful so is his mom and some other people that I've met who are filipino. But like someone else said, you can't judge a whole group of people just based on a few.

One of my best friends is filipino. I think filipino girls are some of the most attractive girls in the world, and so far I have found that every filipino I have ever met in the US has an incredible sense of taste and style.

i'm filipino. we like to have little get-togethers. we love music. we love meeting other filipinos in another countries. we like making friends. we love to smile... don't know why... we like to laugh. we like to play games like patintero and chinese garter (it's a game where you jump on a garter and you raise the garter higher and higher. you win if you finish the last level which is when the garter is over the head. you have to jump that high.) um, i like being a filipino! hehhe... oh and i am a kapuso!!! (sorry, just wanted to declare it... it's a filipino thing...)

I hailed from Baguio (now in long island) and every time summer time got here a large style of people from the decrease provinces got here visiting and we used to call them "mga taga-baba" (in view that Baguio geographically is up interior the mountains) coz a number of them are rather naive and a few communicate like they understand Baguio in and out whilst they only understand with regards to the area the place they're staying at and the tourist spots and popularl places like Aurora Hill, Quezon Hill etc. yet in spite of this, people from Manila and the provinces call us Igorots like in addition they understand what which ability...others do it to degrade us coz some actual hate to be noted as that (And confident i'm an Igorot and happy with it!) they have the stereotypical concept that an Igorot is ignorant, sick-mannered etc.

The girl I'm into is half fillipino, half white. She's so small and cute and has a really cute fashion sense :)
But besides that, I know 2 fillipino people who are brother and sister. They're really nice, talented, and seem to know everyone. I'll get back to this once I talk to that girl hehe.

my fiancee is filipino. i don't think you can put all in one group. they are just as different from each other as we are. some are good some are bad etc.

Personally I would marry one if the right one were interested...
But I would not want to send cash to the Philipines for some lost cause.
