When I watched Sesame Street and that guy put on the "U" costume and ran around while the song "You really got a hold on me" played in the background. It gave me nightmares.

Still does. And suddenly I'm scared to go to bed.

Cheers

I was scared of big white dogs, because I got bitten on the arm by one. Also the dark, aliens, making friends, onions....I was an anxious little kid. Yes, I got over most of these fears too. Still working on the onions.... ;)

My next door neighbor. He was freakishly into religion and he was always telling me how my parents were gonna end up in hell and me and my sister too if we didn't turn to god. After a few years I stopped thinking it might be true. But before that I had horrible visions of burning people. I'm a well informed atheist now.

I use to be scared that little dogs were hiding under my bed at night and if i got up to walk to the toilet or get a drink they would bite my legs and at me. This resulted in a lot of long scary nights, and mum and dad sick of me calling them every time i needed to go to the toilet. Don't laugh....i was just a kid!!

That my stepfather didn't love me. He became my stepfather when I was 2 years old, but never once showed any affection. I spent my entire childhood craving the attention from him and feared it would never come.
