Im on my period but its been 5 days and today it is still pretty heavy and my periods dont usually last this long! today i was in the shower sitting down and i saw this thing coming out of me it was about 15cm long and it was clear i dont know what it is!!? im scared!! im only 18

If you are sexually active, it could have been a very early miscarriage. If you experience increased pain, fever, or the bleeding last for much longer, call your gyno for advice.

If there is a chance that you could be pregnant you should get to a medical facility ASAP. If you experience continued heavy bleeding, cramps, dizziness, or any other unusual symptoms you should call 911 (or your local emergency #). Was the clear "thing" coiled looking? was anything attached to it? It sounds like you may have had, or are having a miscarriage, which can cause serious - even life threatening bleeding. Clear? .. blood clots are usually red. u might want too go see a doc. hun.

it is but a blood clot. go to doctor and see if you need a d&c done. good luck.
