About " Lost In Translation" I'll say my simple opinion : I guess the movie means that Japan or the orient looses it's spirit . When we translate , we mostly don't translate the spirit . That what happens to Japan .

About "Apocalypse now " , I guess the message of the movie is that such places in the world could be the right place to a dictator spirit man to reborn .
That what happend to Marlon Brando in the movie .

The Lake House.
I watched it, and either I was really tired, or it just jumped around too much. What I deciphered:
One man-in the past
One woman-in the future
One lakehouse-that brings them together.
One dog-they both own him at one point.
Rather strange, huh?
I hope that helps!

Mulholland Drive
Every now and again I have to watch it out of morbid curiousity. I concider myself an intelligent, thoughtful person, but I tell you..the end still completely baffles me. What's with the blue box? Is the blonde dead? What have we been watching for the past hour and half? If you have any answers I would love an e-mail.
