The best and fastest solution is to use Melatrol. I have some success with this herbal remedy. It's a natural sleeping aid. The best thing is that is has no side effects and you won't need a prescription!
From personal experience, I can tell you that it works. For days I couldn't sleep and then a friend recommended Melatrol. Reluctantly I tried it and I was surprised. It worked! It saved me in so many ways and after a few weeks I didn't use it anymore. I have a regular sleeping pattern now and I'm much more happier. Hopefully this helps you. Give it a try!

Insomnia is usually caused by stress, anxiety, depression, excessive use of stimulants like caffine and bad eating habits.
Not taking a prescription drug is a wise decision because prescription drugs carry side effects and may be addictive. Try a harmless but effective natural remedy.
Another approach can by Hypnosis. Hypnosis teaches you to relax. Mastering the relaxation technique is the solution of the problem.

Just before you go off to bed have a glass of milk or milk substitute and a banana (which is a high source of magnesium.
Go to the chemist and ask the pharmacist for a multivitamin supplement containing magnesium. Also ask which brand is a good quality one to buy. You need to be taking approximately 250 - 500 mg per day of magnesium. Magnesium is known as the antistress mineral and combined with calcium can work as a natural tranquilizer.
Magnesium is a wonderfull little mineral which doesn't really get the recognition it deserves. It will also help burn fat and produce energy, aid in fighting depression, promote a healthier cardiovascular system and help prevent heart attacks, keep your teeth healthier, bring relief from indigestion and alleviate PMS !!
Best natural sources for magnesium are unmilled grains, figs, almonds, nuts, seeds, dark green vegies, bananas and watermelon.
Supplements of magnesium should not be taken after meals, since the mineral does neutralize stomach acidity.
Women on the pill or taking estrogen in any form would be well advised to eat more magnesium rich foods.
Hope this sends you off to the land of nod ......... :0)
PEACE

I don't know about a cure, but some things have helped me with regular use.
Lavander oil in a flax seed filled silk eye mask, best $10 I spent. I heard somewhere perpermint helps, but it just refreshes me.
Hot chamomile tea, or I tried a
chocolate or cinimon tea. I think that the choco had healing qualities, and it was mostly just scent. ( I sweeten my teas with Stevia Plus, a brand of non chemical non altered sweetener)
Yoga, or even light stretching for as little as 10 minutes while concentraiting on slow even breaths.
No serious conversations 3 hours before bedtime, too much thinking creates a whole new train of though to think on. What can I say, I am a woman. (Try women are from mars, men are from venus. It is at very least comical.)
Think of anything that will calm your body and mind down, meanwhile try not to worry about getting there. I spent too long thinking about the restless night I was going to have. Attitude, I guess it made a difference.
There are probably more things to help, but this works for me. Ans the lavander helps my daughter calm down and my hubby too!! Who'd thought I'd fight this big old country boy for a silk purple lavander scented organic flax seed eye pillow, funny.

5 Miracle Foods for Insomnia.
Lemon: All fruit is goodfor you but lemons appear to be the best treat for insomnia.
Whole grains:Carbohydrates such as bread, muffins, pastries, and bagels seem to have a positive effect when you are having trouble sleeping. Foods such as bread , bagels, and crackers that are high in complex carbohydrates, have a mild sleep-enhancing effect because they increse serotonin, a brain neurotransmitter that promotes sleep.
Milk: you may think its and old wive`s tale that a glass of warm milk will help you fall asleep, but its actually true. Certain chemicals found in milk can help you sleep.
Lettuce:Lettuce has a long standing reputation for promoting healthy sleep.
This is due to an opium-related substance combined with traces of the anti -cramping agent hyoscyanin present in lettuce. Lettuce should an integral part of your evening diet if you are suffering from sleep disorders.
Legumes, peanuts, nutritional yeast, fish or poultry: All these foods contain vitimin B3 (niacin). Niacin is involved in seratonin synthesis and promotes healthy sleep. Mixed with a little lemon juice for flavour, lettuce juice is an effective sleep-inducing drink highly preferable to the synthetic chemical agents in sleeping pills.

I can't believe I am the first one to recommend this! MELATONIN! There is a dual release formula now that helps you fall asleep and stay asleep. It's not habit forming and it safe to take every night. It is also an antioxidant, so you get two benefits. I take it almost every night. It's wonderful.

hi,
There are some natural home remedies for insomnia which are very effective and safe too.
* Drink a cup of warm milk with honey, nutmeg can also be added. The tryptophan in milk helps in sleeping.
* Take plenty of curd and massage it on the head. This will induce sleep.
* Mix 2 teaspoonful of honey in warm water and take before going to bed.
Hope this may help you!!
