I know jobs come up regularly, try the site I have listed below as they tell you everything you need to know about working abroad

Jobaroo is australia
loadzajobs is Ireland
angloinfo is cyprus

There are plenty more sites that can find jobs at these location, when you search on the net search for plumer jobs and the location you want to work

Hope this help, New Zealand is the best place and Australia of course.

Good Luck

I'm not in any of those places, but:

-Try putting an ad in a local paper or seniors newsletter. Advertise to seniors who may need minor maintanance work and odd jobs done. Perhaps even installing new facuets, fixing toliets, etc. Offer them a deal if they refer you to a friend. There are many seniors who need help with this. Make sure you do a good job, and charge a fair and reasonable price, and you will gather customers.

-Apply at local hospitals and universities. They usually pay well, and you never know when someone is retiring.

-Contact trades schools out there and find out which businesses/companies they refer new graduates to.

-Look at starting your own business buy partnering up with someone already in the field. Cold call out of the phone book. You may also be able to get an interview with a large company.

-Look for job fairs and search job bank websites of the areas you want.

Good luck!

Check out seek, I was just looking on there before and noticed you can search for jobs in NZ & IRELAND aswell..
Call Employers directly as it sounds like you are trying to line up work in another country before arriving and explain yourself to them, they may be willing to take the risk of employing you over the phone by dropping the salary slightly,
Ring your local tafe or trade certification place and find out if your qualification is recognised in NZ & IRE or if not what they are equivelant too..

Best of Luck!
