Well according to what some of the other people have responded, I must be a snob. I never thought of myself that way. But anyway, yes, I do like name brands best. Now, I am just referring to grocery items only--not clothes.
I do prefer fine jewelry and do not like fake jewelry.

For certain things. Food wise, mostly. Things like toilet paper, condoms, tampons, toothpaste, coffee etc YES. If it means paying an extra $5 for peace of mind that I'm getting a quality product and pretty packaging.
Other things like sugar and pasta that all taste the same then it doesn't matter to me.
Clothing wise I like certain brands, not for the brand itself, but for the quality of the garment and fabric.

I insist on quality, don't always get it in name brands.

OK... I have to apologize for selling out on this one.
I can't help it...
I love Coach & D&B handbags and I will only buy Express jeans (but that's because they are the only jeans that fit me right). Other than that I don't care.
I pretty much go for the style, if it happens to be a brand name then Oh well.

depends really on what it is. if it's electronics or household items i usually go for a name brand. especially with electronics I'll research online to see what other consumers thoughts on the product are before I go dishin out loads of cash. clothes wise....not at all.

No, waste of time and money. I buy what is on sale and comfortable. There are other things in life that are more important to me.
Besides, clothes only last so long.

IT JUST DEPENDS ON WHAT IT IS.....SOME BRAND NAME THINGS CAN'T BE REPLACED.....BUT I DO TRY TO SAVE A BUCK. IF THE OFF BRAND IS JUST AS GOOD I'LL USE IT...NO PROBLEM...
