Its kinda cool...and if you know how its done, you will definately feel stupid, coz its very easy logic....but nice anyway
I'll tell u how its done, if u dint knew it already....
1) Choose any 2 digit no. --so lets choose xy....where x is the tens digit n y is the ones digit. Now xy = 10x + y
its the same way as 43 = 40 + 3 , 76 = 70 + 6, 12 = 10 + 12, and so on.
2) add together 2 digits-- (x+y)
3)Subtract the total from your original number--
(xy) - (x + y)
= (10x + y) - (x + y)
= 9x
Now if you see clearly the answer you will get will always be a multiple of 9.
Now here is the trick, if you observe the chart closely, you will notice that all the numbers which are multiples of 9 have the same symbol associated with them. And that same shape always comes in the crystal ball. As you will always arrive at a number which is a multiple of 9, and the crystal ball will always show a symbol which is associated with all the multiples of 9, both answers will always match!!
