Nobody knows yet. Apple hasn't even said anything about a 6th gen iPod. They just released the 5.5 gen in September, so it's going to be a while before they release a new one. It could even be a couple of years. Any date you hear right now is just a RUMOR until Apple makes it official.

Apple will be stressing the Iphone for now so expect the schedules to be put off for a while.
