I recently "realized" (in the sense that I accepted, understood objectively, surrendered in a way) that I was not guilty. When I was 11, I told my father about being sexually abused by .... His reaction was to turn his back on me. At that moment on, I felt so ashamed and so guilty for causing pain (I understood his reaction in this fashion. i was a kid). it took me 25 years to "realize" I was not the guilty one. That I was right all along. It is amazing how sometimes we take such a long time to "realize" life and what 's around or inside us, to "understand" what seems afterall evident. I trust there are excellent reasons for it.
