I think it will be the RedSox.
By the way the player doesn't get to pick the team they want to represent anymore. Who do you think Roger would pick if it was up to him?

Roger has said numerous times that he would like to go in as a Yankee, since that's where he won his World Series rings. He doesn't want to go in as a member of the Red Sox because of the way his relationship with the organization acrimoniously ended thanks to Dan Duquette. And he only spent two years with the Blue Jays, essentially as a mercenary. And his years with the Astros, while arguably the best of his career, were much too short thanks to his inability to work out a contract extension before last season.

The Hall of Fame will select his team cap, and it's almost certainly going to be the Red Sox. Of his 7 Cy Youngs, three were won with the Red Sox (in '86, '87 and '91), two were won with the Blue Jays ('97-8), one with the Yankees ('01) and one with the 'Stros ('04). Not only that, but he won an MVP with the Sox. He did win the pitching triple crown in his two years with the Jays, but based on the amount of time and quality of years he gave the Red Sox, he's going in w/their cap.

As much as I love the red sox, I can't help but think of the Yankees whenever I think about Clemens. There are some players who will always be associated with a particular team, no matter how many he eventually plays for....I just don't see Clemens as one of those players. Mostly I think it has to do with how the PLAYER feels, what they say, how they act...and I just don't get the feeling Clemens holds a whole lot of love for Boston or the Red Sox.... I say Yankees, as much as I hate them. Yankees Suck!

I would think more than likely he'd been wearing a Boston Red Sox hat. I know he won a lot of games and the world series with the Yankees too, but I think he'd go in as a Red Sox.

I agree. I think the HoF will choose to put Clemens in a Red Sox cap. I also happen to think that's the right choice.

I believe Clemens has he would like to be wearing a Yankee cap on his plaque.

He stated years ago that he would be wearing a Red Sox cap if ever inducted into the Hall Of Fame. I believe he was with the Yankees when he made that statement.

btw - It is the player's choice as to what cap he wears.

He should be going in as a yankee. Considering he'll be a yankee this year.

He spent his best years in pinstripes and won more World titles in his years with the yanks that the Red Sox have won combined.

Yankees all the way!!!

I think he'll go in wearing pinstripes. He won his world series with us and that kind of validated a career.
