It can actually be straightened and balanced. This is done frequently on differentials that are shortened. The axles are also shortened.
To fix yours will probably cost about 5 times what a used shaft would cost though. I wouldn't bother.

if this is a rear wheel drive car it take some special tools.
you have to open the rear diff. gear box in the center.
you remove the tire on the side that is bend
you disconnect the axle inside of the gear box
**** you will need a bearing puller to remove the shaft out the
tire side. this is the hard part and you can screw up the race (the housing the bearing sits in) real easy if you hammer it.
replace the shaft - reconnect - close the gear box and refill with fluid. reinstall tire.
Note if the wobble is real bad you need to check the race where the bearing sits in case it is warped.

i can tell you how i fixed mine on an old geo tracker, i looped a piece of chain from the frame over the end of the axle , watch the brake lines, then put a bolt thru the chain and tightened it until the wheel was trued again, worked fine. cost zero

I do not see how duct tape, WD40 or swiss army knife could help here, so you will have to replace it.
Check junkyards, you might get a second-hand one for like a quarter of the price.
